Recovery that doesn't have to hurt to work.
Ice baths have their place. But the best recovery routine is the one you'll actually repeat. The Nuvibody CORE series brings red and near-infrared light therapy into your home – no tub to fill, no cold to brace for, no "not today."
- Red + near-infrared light (630 / 660 / 810 / 850 nm)
- Large coverage – from targeted areas up to full body
- A few minutes per session, at home
A recovery method only works when you use it.
Somewhere along the way, we decided recovery has to be uncomfortable to count. Cold plunges and ice baths can help with short-term soreness – but every session means filling a tub, bracing for the shock and talking yourself into freezing water. On a busy day, after a hard session, that is exactly the routine that gets skipped.
Recovery is cumulative. What you do three times a week for a year matters more than what you do once with maximum effort. So the question isn't what feels most extreme? It's what will I still be doing in six months?
Two ways to recover. One you'll keep doing.
| Criterion | Ice bath | Nuvibody CORE |
|---|---|---|
| Setup | Fill, chill and maintain the water | Switch on |
| Experience | Cold shock, mental battle | Warm light – stand or sit and relax |
| Session | Brace, endure, warm back up | A few minutes, then get on with your day |
| Where | Tub, outdoor space, ice supply | Door, wall or stand – in any room |
| Consistency | Easy to skip | Easy to repeat |
Like both? Many athletes keep cold exposure for specific situations and use red light as their everyday baseline.
What red light actually does
Red and near-infrared light is absorbed by the mitochondria – the part of your cells that produces energy. This process is called photobiomodulation. Research on athletes suggests that appropriately dosed red and near-infrared light can support muscle recovery and help reduce post-exercise soreness.¹

Built to make the routine easy
Four wavelengths, one panel
Red and near-infrared combined, so you reach both surface and deeper tissue in the same session.
High LED density
The CORE 300 has 300 LEDs and the CORE 1500 has 1,500 – for an even dose across the whole treatment area.
Large treatment area
Cover your legs, back or upper body without constantly repositioning the panel.
Practical sessions
Switch it on, complete your session in a few minutes and get on with your day.
Simple to set up
The CORE 1500 comes with a door mount kit and adjustable hanging system. Prefer a floor setup? Choose a stand when you order.
Start where you are. Expand when you're ready.

CORE 1500 DUO
Your whole front or back in one go – two linked CORE 1500 panels.
- LEDs3,000 (2 × 1,500)
- Wavelengths630 · 660 · 810 · 850 nm

Start with one. Upgrade later.
The CORE 1500 is modular. Begin with a single panel, and when you want full-body coverage, add a second and connect them with the included link cable. Nothing you buy now becomes obsolete.
Your new post-training routine
Train
Finish your workout as usual.
Switch on
Stand or sit in front of the panel at the recommended distance.
Recover
A few minutes per area. Read, breathe, scroll.
Repeat
3–5 times a week. Consistency does the work.
120 days to make it your routine
Use your CORE at home for 120 days. If it doesn't become part of your recovery, send it back for a full refund. That's long enough to build the habit – and judge it fairly, not just the novelty.
Frequently asked questions
Does it replace ice baths?
It doesn't have to. Red light is a recovery tool you can use every day without the friction. Many people keep cold exposure for specific situations and use red light as their consistent baseline.
Which CORE should I choose?
CORE 300 for targeted areas or a smaller budget. CORE 1500 if you want to cover large muscle groups like legs or back in one session. CORE 1500 DUO for full body. Not sure? Start with a CORE 1500 – you can add a second panel later.
How long until I notice anything?
Recovery is cumulative, so we recommend judging it over weeks rather than single sessions. That's exactly why you get 120 days to try it at home.
Is it safe?
Red and near-infrared light therapy is non-UV and non-invasive. Always follow the instructions in the user manual, including recommended distance and session time.
How do I mount it?
The CORE 1500 includes a door mount kit and an adjustable hanging system. You can also choose a floor stand as a mounting option when ordering. The CORE 300 has a built-in stand.
How does the 120-day trial work?
Use your CORE at home for up to 120 days. If it's not for you, get in touch with our team and return it for a full refund.
The best recovery routine isn't the most extreme one. It's the one you repeat.
